SG Styling is Steven George — and Steven George has been hand-trimming car interiors since 1999. The initials on the door are his. The work that comes out of it is the kind dealers don't post on the showroom wall, because the customer never spotted that the seat was ever apart.
Out of Unit 3 at Dolly Lane Business Centre and the Long Close Works unit next door, he turns over Porsches, Mercedes, Audis and Jaguars in factory-spec leather and Alcantara. He's done a 991.1 GTS Alcantara-to-Pepita conversion, Mercedes bolster work that's invisible after a wipe-down, and a set of aluminium bucket seats for a Jaguar XK120.

Worn driver's bolster, cracked seat backs, scuffed armrest. New hide, original-grade stitching, finished so it disappears back into the rest of the cabin.
Headliners, pillars, wheels, dashboards. Genuine Alcantara, stitched in. Done a 991 GTS Alcantara-to-Pepita conversion if you want a reference.
Boat seats, RIB seats, helm cushions, sun pads. Marine-grade vinyl that takes salt and sun without giving up on you in season two.
Re-shaping, re-foaming, re-covering. Diamond stitch, smooth, gripper or quilted. Pillion comfort actually fixed, not patched.
The drooping fabric on the roof. Stripped, re-foamed, re-bonded with new material. Pulled tight, no sags, no waves, no stink of glue afterwards.
Re-trimmed in matching hide or Alcantara. Custom stitch colour available. Posts in, comes back wrapped — no need to bring the whole car.
Heat pads installed under existing leather. Bolster repairs, custom DVD/screen builds and seat foam re-shaping done at the same time.

Anything with seats, really — but our bread and butter is premium German and British: Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, plus a steady run of classic restorations. We've also done Ferrari, Aston, modern Bentleys and a fair few hot hatches that turned up needing bolster work. If it's got a steering wheel, ring us.
Depends on the car and how you use it. Leather wears beautifully on premium saloons and ages with character. Alcantara grips you in fast cars and looks the business on a wheel or headliner — but doesn't love being eaten in. Vinyl's the one for marine, commercial and seats that get hammered. Steve will tell you straight which is right for your job.
Yes. Marine upholstery is a regular part of the workshop — RIB seats, cabin cushions, helm chairs, sun pads. We use proper marine-grade vinyl that doesn't crack in UK summers. Motorbike seats too: re-foam, re-shape, re-cover — diamond stitch, smooth or gripper finish.
Single-seat repair: 1–2 days. Headlining: usually next-day. Full retrim: anywhere from one week to three depending on hide lead times. We'll often take just the seat out so you keep the car. For full builds, Steve will book you in around a date that works.
